Western Ohio Regional Training Center

The Western Ohio Regional Training Center is responsible for the budgeting, scheduling, registration, and administration of child welfare-related training within a 13-county region. The WORTC is a part of Greene County CSB and serves Allen, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby Counties. We produce quarterly training calendars for both the Child Welfare Staff and Foster Parents in our region. We maintain close partnerships with each of our counties to assess and respond to the unique training needs of each. Through monthly Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP) State Steering Committee meetings and numerous work team meetings, we provide guidance to statewide planning initiatives, and help develop policies and procedures for the delivery of training.

OCWTP Mission:

To promote the delivery of high quality, culturally responsive, family-centered services to children who have experienced or are at risk of abuse, neglect, or dependency, and their families.
