Greene County Community Improvement Corporation (CIC)

Overview

The Greene County CIC is a non-profit organization established under section 1702.04 of the Ohio Revised Code and as provided in Sections 1724.01 to 1724.09 for the sole purpose of advancing, encouraging, and promoting the industrial, economic, commercial, and civic development of Greene County. A CIC may be designated by a county, one or more townships, one or more municipal corporations, two or more adjoining counties, or any combination of the foregoing to act as its agent or representative. The Greene County CIC is a designated agency for the industrial, commercial, research and distribution development in Greene County. The Greene County CIC meets bi-monthly and its membership is made up of the County Commissioners, the County Administrator, and at-large members from the community. The CIC may also focus on Defense & Intelligence, Labor & Education, Business Retention & Expansion, and Marketing to advance the mission of the County.
