Flex Routes

Flex Routes have defined routes with scheduled time points that circulate and link Greene County communities of Beavercreek, Fairborn, Xenia, and Yellow Springs; operating weekdays. A flex express route that connects Xenia to Downtown Dayton is also available.

Greene CATS Flex Route System Map (Effective July 1, 2022)

Flex Deviations up to 1/2 of a mile of defined routes are available

  • A minimum two business days (by noon) in advance is needed to make request
  • Requests can be made up to one month in advance

Flex Routes are not in operation on weekends or these major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. 

  • Limited service on other holidays

  • Major service disruptions will be announced on all local television stations and on website

Free transfers are only available at Xenia Towne Square and Park Hills Plaza Transfer Points

6:00 am - 10:00 am & 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Connections at Xenia Towne Square is every 2 hours

  • TCN - Fairborn is available upon request

Travels throughout Xenia and connects to:
  • Orange Line (Xenia-Beavercreek-Fairborn Connector) and Yellow Line (Xenia-Yellow Springs-Fairborn Connector) at Xenia Towne Square Transfer Point

Weekday Orange Line (Xenia - Beavercreek - Fairborn Connector) PDF
Travels from Xenia through Beavercreek (throughout the Colonel Glenn Highway, Pentagon Boulevard, and North Fairfield Road corridors) to Fairborn and back again and connects to:
  • Green Line (Xenia Circulator), Red Line (Xenia-Dayton Connector), Yellow Line (Xenia-Yellow Springs-Fairborn Connector) at Xenia Towne Square Transfer Point  
  • Blue Line (Fairborn Circulator) and Yellow Line (Xenia-Yellow Springs-Fairborn Connector) at Park Hills Plaza Transfer Point
  • RTA Route 1 at Wright State University (Student Union)
  • Kroger - Beavercreek is available upon request
  • Clark State Greene Center is available upon request
Weekday Yellow Line (Xenia-Yellow Springs-Fairborn Connector) PDF

  • Effective July 1, 2022: Greene County Social Service Center is a new time point
  • Effective July 1, 2022: TCN - Fairborn time point moved to Blue Line
Weekday Red Line (Xenia-Dayton Connector) PDF
Travels from Xenia to Downtown Dayton and back again, connecting to:  
  • Green Line (Xenia Circulator), Yellow Line (Xenia-Yellow Springs-Fairborn Connector), Orange Line (Xenia-Beavercreek-Fairborn Connector) at Xenia Towne Square Transfer Point  
  • RTA at Wright Stop Plaza and the Eastown Transit Center
    • uses Bay A or B at Wright Stop Plaza
  • Wilberforce Loop 
    • Central State and Wilberforce University time points
  • Sinclair College is available upon request
  • Use Greater Dayton RTA "The Flyer" downtown to connect to Miami Valley Hospital
  • No afternoon connection to other Greene CATS flex routes on Red Line
    • To travel back from Dayton and arrive to Fairborn/Beavercreek area use Greater Dayton Route 1 from Wright Stop Plaza to Wright State University Student Union
      • You can transfer to Orange Line at Student Union
    • If you need to get to Yellow Springs
      • Use Greater Dayton RTA Route 1 from Wright Stop Plaza to Wright State University Student Union
        • Transfer to Greene CATS Orange Line
        • Ride to Park Hills Plaza Transfer Point
        • Transfer to Yellow Line
