The 2022 Collective Paving Contract was awarded this week to Fillmore Construction, LLC of Leesburg, Ohio for 4 million dollars.
The contract awarded is a collective paving bid, meaning as a county, we do one bid/contract for all the local jurisdictions that wish to participate in the contract. The premise is going together as a large contract vs individual bids/contracts gets better bid prices for all. County’s have done collective paving and chip seal bids/contracts for years and in Greene County, we continue to as well.
The following local jurisdictions are on the contract this year for paving: Bath Township, Beavercreek Township, Cedarville Township, Miami Township, Jefferson Township, Sugarcreek Township, Xenia Township, City of Bellbrook, City of Fairborn, Village of Cedarville, Village of Jamestown, Greene County Parks, and the Greene County Engineer.
Each jurisdiction is responsible for the selection of the roads/streets they wish to resurface, the inspection/oversight of the contractor work, and the cost.

The completion date for the contract is October 31, 2022, weather permitting.
