Child Support Enforcement Division

Responsibilities

The Child Support Enforcement Division devotes itself to the representation of its client agency, the Greene County Child Support Enforcement Agency, by providing the highest quality of legal support and representation. Through the full-time efforts of the attorneys in this division, parents who unreasonably fail to provide financial support to their children are prosecuted either by contempt order or through criminal sanctions.  The Child Support Enforcement Division has approximately 6,000 open cases at any given time and opens 250 new cases per year. The Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys in the support enforcement division practice in Domestic Relations Court, Juvenile Court, Common Pleas Court and Xenia Municipal Court.
