Bob Glaser was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. His mother and father owned and operated Monarch Water Systems where he worked as a young man. Bob graduated from Carroll High School and went on to the University of Dayton where he graduated with a double major in Biology and Chemistry.


Bob and his wife, Barb, were married in Beavercreek and moved to Chicago for Bob’s work. Their two children were born in Illinois, but raised in Beavercreek. Their son, Rob Glaser, is married with two children, and works at Sensors Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as a Cyber Security Specialist. Their daughter, Melissa (Glaser) Rooney, is married with two children. She and her husband reside in Houston, Texas, where Melissa is Director at Price Waterhouse Cooper.

Bob enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren, Riley Glaser, Owen Glaser, Paige Rooney, and Eliza Rooney.


Bob has 30-plus years of Sales/Management experience in large corporations as well as in small business. Bob started his career in the chemical business and quickly moved to the wire and cable business where he held various positions including sales, regional manager, utility marketing manager and regional vice president of data products.

Community Activities

Bob was the first president of his Homeowner’s Association, a Friend of the Special Wish Foundation and a member of I.E.E.E. He served as the mayor of the City of Beavercreek, and served eight years on the Beavercreek City Council along with seven years as a Beavercreek Township Trustee.

Additionally, Bob has served as President of the Greene County Township Association and has been a member of the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission as well as the Greene County Regional Planning Board.
