About Your Bill
Receiving Your Bill
Usage is calculated on a month cycle, customers in outlying areas have a remote read meter that is read monthly and the customer is billed according to usage.
Bills will be sent to you every month. Billing is done in arrears.
For customers not on monthly readings, the first and second bills represent the minimum charge for one month, based on 1,000 gallons of water used and 3,000 gallons of sewer used. The third month bill represents your actual usage based on the quarterly meter reading. This bill includes your monthly minimum charges plus charges for additional amounts used above the three-month minimum amount of 3,000 gallons of water and 9,000 gallons of sewage.

Late Payments
Bills are payable on or before the “due date” printed on the bill. Partial payments are acceptable, but any amount not paid by the due date shall be considered delinquent and subject to a “late payment penalty” of seven and one-half percent (7.5%) per month.
Automatic Bank Debits
Automatic Bank Debit is available. The Application Form should be completed and returned to the Sanitary Engineering Department.
Level Billing
Level Billing Program is available for customers who have been on the system at least a year.
High Usage
If your usage in any given cycle is unusually high, please check for leaks. High usage may be caused by leaky toilets (flapper valves or overflow tube), dripping faucets, water softener malfunction or a possible underground leak. Watering your lawn, flowers, shrubs or washing cars or siding, even having guests for an extended time can cause high usage. If you continue to have high usage and cannot locate the source, please contact our office for advice.
