Before your Visit

We encourage our visitors to review our online catalog and digital repository to locate materials of interest. Researchers are encouraged to make an appointment to allow staff ample time to pull the appropriate records and materials prior to arrival, which will allow researchers to get right to their work!

During your Visit

Please read through the following information regarding the use of the records and materials in our collection.

  • Please register with our administrative assistant upon arrival.
  • Please review our Guidelines for Use of Materials prior to beginning your research. Copies of our policy are posted throughout the Archives for your convenience.
  • No food or drinks are permitted in the Reading Room.
  • Please use only pencils, which are provided on the tables.

Directions and Parking Information

The Greene County Records Center and Archives is located in the Greene County Ledbetter Complex in Xenia. Our physical address is 535 Ledbetter Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385. There is a white sign above our door that reads "Archives" and our number is on the door. 

Visitors may park anywhere in the lot they choose, and there are handicapped parking spots near our door.
