Greene County Clerk of Courts, Terri A. Mazur, has announced she is retiring from office on December 31, 2017 after 21 years of service.
"Serving the residents of Greene County as their elected Clerk of Courts since January 6, 1997 has been one of the greatest honors of my life, however, the time has come for me to begin a new chapter," Mazur said.
The advance notice of her retirement will allow for a temporary replacement to be selected by the Greene County Board of Commissioners and the Greene County Republican Party, as well as provide the voters of Greene County the opportunity to elect their nominee in the May 8, 2018 primary election, and ultimately, elect the person who will fulfill the remainder of her term in the November 6, 2018 general election.
Interested parties seeking appointment and/or election to this office should contact the Greene County Board of Commissioners, Greene County Republican Party, and the Greene County Board of Elections for further information.
