[ARCHIVED] May 21, 2018 A Boil Advisory is issued for Avon Dr.

The Greene County Sanitary Engineering Department has issued a boil water advisory for your area.

The water pressure in your area dropped due to a broken water main.  The Ohio EPA recommends we issue a boil water advisory whenever there is a loss of water pressure in the system.  While there is little chance of contamination, the boil water advisory is issued as a precautionary measure.

We recommend you boil any water for use in drinking or cooking for one minute before use.  There is no harm in bathing or washing clothes in the water.

This boil water advisory will remain in effect until samples indicate the water is not contaminated.  Generally, a boil water advisory will be lifted within 48 hours.  We will notify you when this boil water advisory is lifted.

If you have any questions, please call us at 937-562-7450.
