[ARCHIVED] Greene County Sanitary Water System Update 5/30/2019

GCSED update 5.30.19 at 11:00 am:

Water System Update:

Greene County Sanitary Engineering (GCSE) has lifted a boil for customers located in the Swigart and Clyo areas. Kitridge Road and Saville Estates areas are still under boil advisory until further notice.

All other Greene County Sanitary Engineering Department water service areas are operating under normal conditions and no restrictions. 

Solid Waste Update:

Greene County Environmental Services yard waste site is open – operating hours 

Operating hours May 29 and 30 - 10:00 am to 8:00 pm

May 31 - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

June 1 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Greene County Private Yard Waste Facilities:

Dean’s Eco Green – 1290 E. Dayton Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn (937) 608-8010

Maintaining standard business hours Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm; Saturday 8 am – 12 noon

Standard rates charged to customers to drop-off yard waste

Tom’s Mulch – 2113 Ferry Road, Bellbrook 937-848-3422

Maintaining standard business hours Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm; Saturday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm; Sunday 10 am to 2 pm

Standard rates charged to customers to drop-off yard waste

Montgomery County Transfer Facility – 1001 Encrete Lane, Moraine (937) 225-4999

Maintaining standard operating hours Monday – Friday 6 am to 8 pm; Saturday 8 am to 3 pm

Will accept brush from Greene County residents/households at NO CHARGE

Commercial yard waste will be charged standard rates

Greene and Montgomery County yard waste accepted

Brush maximum size = 4 inches diameter and 8 foot long

Firewood maximum size = 14 inches diameter and 18 inches long
