Request for Public Input on the Greene County Transit Board Program of Projects (POP):

The Greene County Transit Board (Greene CATS) has developed a Program of Projects (POP), which lists its proposed new uses of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds. The Board would like your comments on the POP.

The following is a summary of the proposed new uses of FTA funds with the date and amount of FTA funds to be used: FY 2017 FTA formula grant for Operations in 2018 at $917,915 and Vehicle Replacement in 2018 at $493,874; FY 2018 FTA formula grant for Operations in 2019 at $988,802 and Vehicle Replacement in 2019 at $543,322; FY 2015 & FY 2016 FTA CMAQ Grant for Flex Route Operations Evening, Peak, and Weekend Service in 2017-2021 at $1,501,158

Other projects that will be funded by FTA funds have already been presented in previous Programs of Projects and had the accompanying public input.

Greene CATS will be conducting a public hearing on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Greene County Transit Board Conference room at 2380 Bellbrook Ave., Xenia, OH 45385.  Interpreters for persons with hearing-impaired or translators for persons with limited English proficiency can be provided at the public hearing with at least one week notice.
