[ARCHIVED] Congratulations on a Successful Plea Resolution

On November 12, 2020, Jerry W. Coffman, II pled guilty to one count of Rape, and two counts of Sexual Battery in a case involving a minor child victim and was sentenced to 13 years in prison.

The facts occurred in Jamestown where Coffman was a neighbor of the minor child. Our Investigator, Fred Meadows, spent nearly a year assisting the Jamestown Police Department with the case. Fred worked diligently to develop the facts and obtain enough evidence to get a probable cause warrant, and then an indictment in February of 2020. Docket Prosecutor Michele Henne provided guidance during the investigative period and after the indictment, and ultimately a guilty plea was obtained. Both Fred and Michele were assisted by Victim Advocate Becky Walsh, who did an extraordinary job of working with the victim and her family on a difficult case.

We appreciate the efforts and dedication of our team on behalf of the victim in securing this conviction.
