A public hearing, sponsored by the Job & Family Services Planning Committee, on the proposed COMPREHENSIVE SOCIAL SERVICES PLAN to provide Social Services to eligible recipients using Federal Social Services Block Grant funds is being announced. These funds are being administered by the Greene County Department of Job & Family Services for federal fiscal years 2016 and 2017. The plan has been developed in accordance with Title XX of the Social Security Act. Social Services for eligible individuals and/or families described in this plan include: Information & Referral; Pregnancy/Parenting Services for Young Parents; Prevention & Intervention; Protective Services for Adults; Protective Services for Children; Transportation Services. A public hearing will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 10:00am – 11:00am at the Greene County Department of Job & Family Services Media Room at 541 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia, OH 45385.
