The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is scheduled to receive an on-site assessment as part of a
program to achieve re-accreditation by verifying this office meets the professional standards
administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc., (CALEA).
The accreditation program requires agencies to comply with standards in four basic areas: policy
and procedures, administration, operations and support services. A chapter overview of CALEA

An assessment team will arrive on Monday, April 15, 2013. As part of the on-site assessment,
agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments at a Public
Information Session on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. The session will be conducted in the
Greene County Commissioner's Chambers located at 35 Greene Street, Xenia, Ohio.
