Greene County Children Services and Michael’s House Child Advocacy Center joined together to celebrate outstanding child advocates in the county.
Greta McKenzie, Greene County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children) program director was named Child Advocate of the Year in the “Community” category; Kenna Longstreath, a local parole officer, was named Child Advocate of the Year in the “Law Enforcement” category; and Kate Mezera, a caseworker with Greene County Children Services, was named Child Advocate of the Year in the “Children Services” category.
