Our goal is to clean up old tires from our local residences. Grant monies allow us to over most of the recycling cost—leaving you only a small per tire fee, By recycling your tires during this amnesty collection, the cost to you will be minimal. In Ohio it is illegal to landfill whole tires - recycling is the only option.
Cost per tire is $0.50 per car or light truck tire (on or off-rim); $2.00 per semi tire (on or off-rim); and $5.00 per tractor or implement tire (on or off-rim). Payment must be made in cash or check at the drop-off. The program is not intended for businesses such as tire shops and is for only Greene County residents.
Those wishing to participate in the Tire Collection, must complete this registration form and send it to our office. You will be contacted with a scheduled date and time to drop off your tires.
