[ARCHIVED] Greene County's Community Development Block Grant in compliance with State objectives

Recently, the State’s Office of Community Development reviewed Greene County’s State Administered Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Community Development Program and found all areas to be in compliance.

These areas included Citizen Participation, Environmental Review, Civil Rights/Fair Housing, Financial Management and Grant Management System, among others.

Greene County continues to utilize the CDBG Program to partner with its local communities in assisting them with improvements to better the lives of our citizens. Examples of this include a $32,000 grant to improve the sidewalks in the Village of Bowersville, and a $44,000 grant to assist with water facility improvements in the Village of Jamestown, to name just a few.

For more information concerning the CDBG program and how it benefits our neighborhoods, please contact the Greene County Department of Development at (937) 562-5007.
